Book of Dead Guide · The series
Rich Wilde Slots: Every Game in the Wilde and Dead Series
Rich Wilde started as a Wild symbol in a 2012 Aztec slot and became Play'n GO's mascot. Today the Wilde series counts 18 games with Rich, his sister Cat or their uncle Gerard. Alongside it runs the Dead series: Egyptian slots in the Book of Dead mold, mostly without Rich.
How the Rich Wilde series grew
Rich first appeared in Aztec Idols in 2012 and Pearls of India in 2014, but only as a symbol. Book of Dead in January 2016 put him at the center and made him famous. Its expanding-symbol free spins became one of the most copied ideas in online slots.
Play'n GO then took the series in two directions. The Wilde games follow the family: Rich in Greece, India and a haunted library, his sister Cat Wilde in Egypt, the Andes and beyond, and uncle Gerard in his own games from 2023. The Dead series keeps the Egyptian setting and the Book of Dead mechanics without Rich, led by Legacy of Dead.
The mechanics evolved too. The early games use 10 lines and expanding symbols. The Tome games, starting with Tome of Madness in 2019, switch to cluster pays on a 5x5 grid. The newest, Book of Dead GO Collect, adds Hold and Spin jackpots to the original formula.

The Dead series
Play'n GO's Dead series grew out of Book of Dead's success. The games share the Egyptian setting and usually the expanding-symbol free spins, but most have no Wilde family member. Play'n GO lists Book of Dead, Legacy of Dead, Doom of Dead, Amulet of Dead, Pyramids of Dead and Lost Chapter among them, so a few games belong to both series.
Legacy of Dead is the flagship and the game most players compare with Book of Dead. The rest of the list keeps growing, with new titles most years.

Which Rich Wilde slot should you try?
The classic
Book of Dead: one bonus, simple rules, 5,000x. If you prefer stacking expanding symbols and a higher RTP, Legacy of Dead.
A higher ceiling
GO Collect, Lost Chapter and Pyramids of Dead all reach 10,000x on the same 5x3 grid.
Something different
The cluster-pays Tome games: Tome of Insanity or Tome of Dead for 5,000x, Tome of Madness for the original.
